    A well-established leader in the printed circuit board industry for over 50 years is seeking a Controller well versed in accounting and extensive experience in operational accounting, general ledger management, month-end close procedures, and financial statement preparation within a large manufacturing environment, adhering to established guidelines.

    The Controller will work closely with team members, both internally and externally, to ensure the company's financial closings are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance. This role includes analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts, supporting treasury activities, and handling special projects as needed.

    Job Description:

    * Oversee and finalize month-end and year-end financial closings, including all supporting documentation.
    * Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and all company bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
    * Maintain up-to-date financial schedules, including company properties, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
    * Implement stringent internal controls to ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles.
    * Prepare monthly schedules and financial reports for management review and analysis.
    * Assist in preparing and maintaining financial work papers for external audits.
    * Track capital expenditures and monitor spending in foreign locations.
    * Handle special projects as assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification is highly desirable.
    * Ability to collaborate effectively with the US parent company and meet strict closing deadlines.
    * Experience in intercompany accounting and consolidating related entities.
    * Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
    * Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Strong proficiency in Excel (including Sumifs, Vlookups, Pivot, and Power Pivot tables).
    * Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite in a manufacturing setting.
    * Deep understanding of inventory costing.
    * Ability to explain cost accounting impacts on financial statements to internal stakeholders.
    * Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
    * Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
    * Must maintain confidentiality of data.
    * Strong business acumen and sound judgment, using both instinct and data to assess business situations accurately and make timely, appropriate decisions.
