    Job description

    Production Finance Analyst

    This role is responsible for managing production schedules and overseeing order flow through a network of outsourced factories across the US and Canada. The position requires forecasting demand based on deals tracked in the company's CRM system.

    Bulk orders are placed with factories using an annual forecast that is updated quarterly and reviewed weekly to ensure timely delivery-typically aiming for orders to be received and fulfilled within 30 days.

    Once bulk orders are placed, this role manages the release of customer orders to factories, coordinating available inventory and equipment to meet demand. The ability to build demand models at different levels (low, medium, high) is essential, along with a strong understanding of factory capacity and capabilities.

    Forecasting and critical thinking skills are key, as information is gathered and analyzed through regular meetings. The role works closely with sales leadership to monitor deal progress and ensure accurate reflection of orders and deal flow in the CRM. Collaboration with the CRM administrator is important for maintaining dashboard accuracy.

    Strong experience with production management using NetSuite is required, especially managing inventory and work-in-progress from a production perspective. The role includes leading weekly meetings with factories and production teams.

    Additional responsibilities include production accounting such as issuing orders, reconciling invoices, and reporting on margins related to cost of goods sold. Monthly reporting supports P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
