Senior Accountant (Fully Remote)
I am currently working with a fast-growing, VC-backed internet company on a mission to scale our operations and expand our finance team. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of for financial reporting, optimizing processes, and supporting the long-term strategic goals.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and leveraging NetSuite to streamline processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
* Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
* Support tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Leverage NetSuite ERP to optimize financial processes and reporting.
* Assist in process automation and system improvements to support scalability.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to drive efficiencies.
Qualifications:
* Full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth environment.
* Strong experience with NetSuite ERP is required.
* Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
* Experience in VC-backed companies, tech, or internet industries is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
