Controller (Remote, Onsite 4x a Month)

My client is an industry leading specialist in helping non-profit organizations achieve their missions, create value and advance their causes. They are based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and are looking to add a controller to their organization as soon as possible. You will be working closely with the CFO and senior management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting & Compliance
* Budgeting & Forecasting
* Internal Controls & Risk Management
* Team Leadership & Development
* Cash Management & Treasury Functions
* Strategic Financial Planning
* Tax Planning & Compliance
* System Implementation & Optimization
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
Experience:
* Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
* Proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
* Experience with financial systems (MS Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
