NetSuite Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant proficient in NetSuite and experienced in international accounting. This role will be based onsite at their Main Office. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting processes within a manufacturing environment, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with international accounting standards. Your expertise in NetSuite will be crucial for streamlining financial systems and enhancing operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with international accounting standards.
* Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation.

NetSuite Management:

* Utilize NetSuite to manage and enhance accounting processes and financial systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite-related issues involving financial transactions and reporting.
* Implement and uphold NetSuite best practices to optimize system functionality and efficiency.

International Accounting:

* Oversee financial data consolidation from international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
* Manage currency translations, international tax compliance, and inter company transactions.
* Provide guidance on international accounting practices and regulatory requirements.

Manufacturing Accounting:

* Analyze manufacturing costs, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing expenses and revenue.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement cost control measures.

Financial Analysis and Planning:

* Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
* Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
* Identify trends and offer insights to enhance financial performance.

Process Improvement:

* Identify and implement improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
* Develop and document accounting procedures and controls.

Team Leadership:

* Mentor and train junior accountants and finance staff.
* Oversee accounting team members to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
* Proficiency in NetSuite required; experience with other ERP systems is a plus.
* Extensive experience in international accounting and financial reporting.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting practices and cost analysis.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and international stakeholders.
* This role requires onsite presence in Santa Fe Springs, California
